What are Zincs? Zincs are sacrificial anodes that are placed on various underwater locations of your boat to absorb the stray electrical current that causes electrolysis. Electrolysis will weaken the propellers, shafts, struts, rudders and any other metal parts that are underwater causing cracks and breakage.
Barnacle Busters will inspect your zincs and replace them when necessary, preventing costly damage. Our trucks are stocked with every common size and type and we use only Genuine CAMP high quality zincs.
PROPELLERS
Barnacle Busters will take care of all your propeller needs. We carry the various tools necessary to effectively pull props up to 60" including a 25 Ton Hydraulic Prop Puller, all the common PropSmith sizes to accommodate 2" to 4" shafts plus several additional metric sizes.
Bent propeller? Barnacle Busters will pull your props while your boat is in the water, have them reconditioned and re-installed in record time. Bent prop while in the islands? WE can fly our diver to YOU bringing your spares (if available) or have your damaged props reconditioned and brought back to you installing them in the clear waters of your favourite island.

We can also apply paint or propspeed before reinstalling your propellers.
PROPSPEED
What is PropSpeed? PropSpeed is a protective slippery coating that, when applied correctly to props and shafts, will minimize salt water scaling and maximize performance enchncing fuel efficiency. PropSpeed is used on the props and shafts instead of anti-fouling paint and can be applied after propeller reconditioning.
Barnacle Busters is proud to be an authorized PropSpeed facility. We have undergone the specialized training needed to properly apply the PropSpeed coating to ensure maximum coating life.
